Cheap Secondhand and Used Computers

Once you have decided on the specification you want from your cheap second user computer you need to find someone selling a computer that meets your spec.

Ebay can be an excellent place to buy a cheap computer. Be careful to buy from a user with good reputation - it is sometimes better if the computer seller lives close to you so you can collect your cheap computer and not have the cost of shipping added on.

Many traders offer refurbished computers, and some warranty their second hand computer systems .

When buying a cheap computer on ebay make sure it is well described, if you are unsure ask the seller questions. Most sellers are happy to provide additional information. Computer fairs can be an excellent place to buy a cheap secondhand computer, and you can operate the computer as well. Most sellers at computer fairs are traders and may offer warranty.

When buying second hand computers check the situation with software licenses. Just because software is installed on the computer it doesnt automatically give you license to use it! Look at used printers, modems and other equipment from the same seller- can you strike a deal?
