Rating:  - Very disapointed.
The drive stop working in few months. it starts with click sound and stops transferring the data.

I recently purchased a Toshiba 320 GB external drive and it is an excellent product. I am very partial to Toshiba products, as I have purchased several and never been disapointed. This product is no exception. I it small and light enough to fit into a shirt/jacket pocket and is capable of holding so much information. I would also recommend the Case Logic case that Amazon sell for it, as the drive fits into it perfectly and is pretty much indestructable. I would highly recommend the Toshiba 320 GB and the Case Logic case and would purchase the exact same items if I ever fill up the 320 GB drive.

Purchased on Amazon September 16 2008. Dead before the end of October. This drive was not abused in any way -- though it is portable, it sat the whole month and a half of its brief life on my desk plugged into my desktop computer. The desktop computer is rarely used, so the main activity taking place was updating / running antivirus (Trend Micro) in the background and running Diskeeper defrag utility. The computer is plugged into a surge protector, and I have surge protection provided by my power company to my entire house. The drive generates endless loop of messages that it needs to be formatted -- as quickly as you can close them new ones appear, filling up the taskbar. Occasionally it pauses long enough to ask if I want to run chkdsk. If I say yes, chkdsk runs for about 20 seconds, then the drive starts clicking and chkdsk runs no further.
Rating: - awesome and dependable!
I am a graphic design student, so I needed a drive with enough space for the large files I am always working on. This drive is awesome. I am transferring files between my home and school computer, and it is so dependable! I haven't had any problems with it even with the amount of use this little guy gets. I love it and would recommend this to anyone!
Rating: - Cracked within 6 months
I bought it this May and I can't read data from it last month. I contact them but I am not satisfied with their service and attitude. Although the disk has good outlooking but it breaks down so quick! Not recommend to other people.
