The frame was damaged out of the box and it took me almost 3 weeks to finally receive my return.

I bought one for my mother, the display is great and the instructions are horribly written--had to call the distributer. but if you connect the display to your pc with the usb cable you can drag files onto the icon for the picture frame and the transfer is very good speedl
the only thing missing is a random access pattern, the pictures can be viewed in order only and this gets to be a drag. There is a choice called "random" in the menu system but it refers to the different fade in/out patterns used, not the order of the slides.

I requested and obtained a full refund promptly on this item. The remote did not work, the voltage converter became too hot to handle after 30 minutes or so, and the device would not boot up right after turning it off. I had to wait several hours for it to boot up again. I was satisfied with the display. The clock and calendar would have been good features, but the clock had to be reset each time the device was turned on, and the printing was too small be be seen across the room, hence one had to get up close to read it.

Compared to the other 15 inch frames, this one is fairly good in price and quality. The frame is solid wood (unlike some other plastic ones) this gives it a solid feel throughout. As far as the display is concerned, mine came with no dead pixels. It displays my photos clearly and bright.
The internal 1GB memory is a real plus - most others only come with 256 MB or none at all.
I have transferred a full length 700MB .avi movie file from my SD card to the internal memory and it played beautifully. I was also able to play a movie off my USB Flash drive.
The music slideshow feature is fully adjustable and works well. It also comes with a handy credit card size remote.
