Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Nice Features but Buggy
The set has nice features on the keyboard, and an excellent mouse. Setup was easy. Although it has not "broken" in a year's use, it:
- Frequently disconnects when rebooting or going into sleep mode. You need a reset to get the keyboard and mouse to reconnect. I just bought a MS Wireless Desktop to replace the MX Duo and the MS Wireless has no such problems.
- The shortcut keys do not work with Firefox (even though the keys on the MS desktop do). Rather ironic, but it makes the MX Duo that much less useful.
- Having used both, I like the MS Wireless Desktop better.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - This Is Great Product
I recieved my set and eagerly put it together. Set up was simple, all the instructions were clear and easy to read.

I originally got this to free up space and rid the wires, but I got a lot more than just freedom. I also got a lot more options and functions to play with.

The mouse is great, great tracking response time and accuracy. The extra buttons help a lot, especially the tracking and scrolling ones. Plus it doesn't get stuck to surfaces like some other mice. A bit heavy but very comfortable. Takes awhile to get used to it but once you do... everything is all good.

They keyboard is great and all the functions work as specified when in normal windows. There's only one problem with it, when playing games and you try to use some of the special functions of the keyboard, the game frezees up or stalls for awhile. For example the volume. Plus as others have noticed... there may be some lag when using the volume too.

The good definately outweigh the bad and i'd recommend this to anyone.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Logitech MX Duo
I wish this cordless keyboard/optical mouse combo had been available years ago. I've tried several over the years, none of which performed as flawlessly as this cordless duo. The keyboard is comfortable, responsive, and well-designed. The rechargeable mouse alone is worth the cost for both...fits my hand nicely, convenient button placement, plus no more erratic (and annoying) cursor jumping around the screen, which happened frequently with the other brands I've used. Top of the line product for my money.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Wonderful product
I've had my cordless duo for quite some time now, and can recommend it to just about anyone. The range is great and if you have trouble with the reception, then you just need to change/charge the batteries. Programming it takes a little bit of skill, but is easy enough if you can follow directions. The feature I like most is the charger for the mouse. It's wonderful to not have to worry about mouse batteries. And, after a year of heavy use, I've only had to change the batteries in the keyboard once.
The keyboard is wonderful. I'm fairly specific about the touch and sound that I like in my keyboards, but the duo keyboard works wonderfully. I use the media keys constantly, to change volume, tracks, etc. They work flawlessly with both Windows Media Player (8 & 9 tested) and Winamp (2,3, & 5 tested). My only complaint with it is the web keys. I use Mozilla Firefox, and the keys do not work with that browser. However, they do work with Internet Explorer.
The mouse is great. If you're a righty, like myself, the feel of it is great and doesn't cramp up your hand after hours of use. The response is great with no lag, and ALL of the buttons can be programmed. It works wonderfully in firefox, letting me surf forward or back a page at the press of a button. The scroll wheel is solid. Further, the thumb buttons are nicely placed and feel great. A southpaw might be able to use the mouse, but would be better off looking elsewhere.
Overall, a wonderful product, and I've had no problems.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Flawless
I was just playing with the unit so that I could add some more items to this review. Things that the mouse will work well on: My shirt, my wood desk, the side of my printer, a calkboard, the wall, the carpet. It does not work well on my hair.

I believe I am on my 3rd workday (that means 7+ hours of use per day) without a recharge and the mouse still does not need to be charged. I'm able to use both the mouse and keyboard up to a distance of about 10 feet away from the base.

For those of you concerned that you may need any extra items, you won't. The package comes with everything you need to get up and running. When I bought the Duo I was a little worried that I'd need a separate radio transmitter card and that fear was unfounded. The radio reciever is included and it just plugs right into where your wired mouse and keyboard plug in.

I think it is hard to go wrong with this product.
