FOR OVER 6 YEARS NOW THIS TYPE OF KEYBOARD AND MOUSE IS ALL I USE I LOVE THEM TO DEATH .NO MORE CORDS TO MESS WITH I DECIDED WHEN MY DOG KEPT GETTING UNDER MY COMPUTER DESK AND MY MOUSE WAS ALWAYS ON THE FLOOR.AND THAT WAS HER SPOT. I THOUGHT NO MORE CORDED MOUSES FOR ME SO SINCE THE KEYBOARD CAME WITH IT I THOUGHT HEY COOL THEN THIS IS ALL I USE I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THEM BOTH I HATED TO USE A CORDED MOUSE THEY ARE A PAIN SO I WILL STICK TO THESE FOR AS LONG AS THEY MAKE THEM .AWESOME... ALSO LOVE THE LITTLE POCKET THE MOUSE GOES IN TO CHARGE IT UP.REALLY NICE.. THEY ROCK

one of the best keyboard and mouse i have ever used. make sure you use energizer titanium batteries in it and it will last forever. i dont use my desktop that often, may be an hour average, but i have not change the battery even once. and i am using this combo for abour 6 to 7 months now. great combo. will recommend to anyone.

KEYBOARD
Very nice to type on, buttons are responsive. Almost all of the extra buttons are reprogrammable via the included Logitech iTouch software, and easy to do so. I especially like the wheel on the left side of the keyboard. It is exactly the same as on the MX 700 mouse and can be clicked just like the mouse wheel to give a number of options. I personally find it much easier to control volume with this wheel than with the big silver wheel at the top center. I have never had to replace the pair of AA batteries used to power this keyboard.
MOUSE
Eight reprogrammable buttons via included Logitech MouseWare software. I have no lag when compared to a wired mouse and when used modestly the rechargeable AA batteries will last for several days without needing to be charged. There is a small patch of paint where the base of the palm rests that wears off over time and exposes the white plastic, which looks weird compared to the rest of the mouse, but that isn't a problem to me.
Overall, I highly recommend this combo. I have never had a problem, I use both mouse and keyboard every day and they have held up well in the years that I have owned them.

I havent had this keyboard and mouse set but an hour and its freakin awesome. all the options, f key options, browser, buttons, etc. its all awesome. so far i dont have any lag, i went to word and typed as fast as i could (randomly mashing keys) and it was instant! so i dont know why people say it has lag (prolly slow puters). i highly recommend this keyboard and mouse!
