Rating: - Great Product
I bought this product to help troubleshoot codes on my 1994 Toyota Pickup, as well as other older and newer vehicles in my "fleet". Updating the firmware was a small issue because the unit has a COM port connector, and a 3rd party USB/COM adapter didn't work with my particular laptop (which only has USB). Nice code scanner but nothing special. Missing some key data like ISC steps and fuel tank pressure. I bought this unit based on the specs stating it had bi-directional communications, which can only be found on very expensive professional scanners and is needed to complete the tests in the shop manual. The only thing it does is request initiation of an EVAP bay test. On my car it returns an error stating that my car does not support this test yet my factory shop manual clearly states that it does. ... Read More
