For the price, these should be more than good enough earbud headphones for the above-average, discriminating listener. Better value than Shure, Sennheiser, Skullcandy.
I am not an extreme audiophile but I do require good sound out of my headphones. These are a huge upgrade from the previous Sony MDR EX51LP's that I had which cost the same amount.
