Rating: - it's good to have it
This is a must have if you really want to take advantage of the mobility of the sony upc. With the default battery came with the pc, it will run out of power around an hour, with this large battery, it will at least double the time when I use outside, I don't need to worry about the power anymore. After fully charged, the battery icon shows it can run 4+ hrs (in maximum battery mode), in actually use, I think it's no problem for two hours, at least for now. That's good enough for me.

It works super. Extends the runtime to almost 4 hours.

Made in Japan but...dead. Laptop does not even recognize it's plugged in. I lost my 6 hrs worth of work on my business trip due to this battery which I purchased directly from Sony. Sony told me these are meant to be replaced every year. Somehow my double A's last longer than this. This was also my back up battery, I've only used this twice.
Rating: - Expensive, extremely big and very ugly but it does what it claims.
I really prefer my UX with the standard battery because of comfort, weight and lool, the problem is that the standard doesn't last any long.
This battery it's by far the most expensive battery i've ever bought in all my life, make you use your palm sized personal computer for at least 3 hours which is good.
It's on the weighty side which is not so good and adds too much to the size of the computer.

Rating: - Handy and Powerful
I am very pleased i bought this battery, it gives me plenty of time to do what i need to do. I have been able to work on my new vaio up to three hours. I do believe it is worth the money down to the last penny.
