I needed a passive 10' USB 2.0 extension for a Sprint EVDO wireless modem at work and this cable fit the bill. It allowed me to relocate the modem from the corner of the office to the ceiling near the door, allowing the throughput speed to more than double and connectivity problems were eliminated. For about $6.00 shipped, I couldn't have found a better cable. It is well built with a good strain relief at the connectors which some "high quality" cables do not have. Rating: - Works exactly as expected
Not much to say - it works! Connectors on both ends are solid and fit well with other USB jacks. Cable feels a little thin, but perhaps I've gotten used to the "heavily shielded" cables that are included with some external drives.
And the price is (most certainly) right!

Very handy cable, have them attached to my wired mouse and keyboard for PC gaming on the TV. I would go wireless, but any hardware malfunctions and I get fragged!
