I bought these speakers a couple of years ago (a little over 2 I'd say) and they really worked great. The sound was decent and I never had any issues with them until today when they inexplicably died. I just moved across the country so it's possible something happened to them in the move though. I have a Macbook Pro and these things really worked great with it: good sound and good VOLUME (I was able to really crank them). Rating: - Amazing Speakers, for those who can push connectors
This is an amazing speaker set, which to me, has great sound quality and looks for a PC speaker system.
Minor Snag-
The tiny speaker connectors have a triangular socket/key shape just near the metal pin. So if not aligned well the connect doesnt go in completely. So it is required to push the connectors well and deep , with a bit of twist.

I got these speakers now for a number of years. Over this period I have replaced my computer a few times but my speakers have remained the same.
The speakers give a very good sound under all conditions. Normally small speakers tend to 'scream' a bit but in this case that has not been the case.
With pleasure I can listen to music and spoken word without getting annoyed of the sound.

Rating: - Great Speakers
I was in the market for computer speakers and found these on sale. I bought them based on price and name brand. Turns out I got a better deal than I thought. I paid $35 and they retail over $100, and they look cool. The sound quality is fantastic and I'm a bit of a nut when it comes to sound quality. Even at a higher price I would still highly recommend these.

They weren't too bad when they were new, but after a year they are horrible. They've taken all the joy out of listening to music.
