Rating: - Well worth the money
I only paid 8 bucks for this new because I guess a new version replaced it. Forget any new versions...this version ROCKS! So many cool and fun features. I can remove wrinkles, air brush imperfections, add borders, turn faces into funny distorted cartoons....we are having a blast with this and have only touched on a few features so far! LOVE IT!

Excellent product! All we expected and more at a great price.

I do very little editing etc and this was just the software for me (a beginner). It has a lot of features and is very easy to use. It is not for the very serious editor (like my wife). If you want all the bells and whistles get something more expensive, However if you are like me and want to edit photos or make great slide shows with little effort then this IS the software for you.

Simple interface
All the basic digital effects to correct a photo
Very integrated with the other programs
Disadvantages:
Wastes lots of memory
Not advanced enough (compared to Adobe Photoshop or Fireworks)
Not customizable enough

I am a self taught web designer. One of the software programs I was using was Microsoft Picture It! Publishing Platinum. It worked fine for 2 years until I updated my computer with 'Updates'. Then all of a sudden it no longer worked. After doing some research, apparently Microsoft does not support it's software after a certain length of time.
