Rating: - Great Fan, burned out when placed in...
Great fan only lasted me a year. It burned out because it got too hot. It still runs but after about 2 days of use it will lock up.
It got too hot because i had a fan grill that was far too restrictive on its airflow. This thing really pushes air and needs it to keep itself cool. I also had it running at a low speed, thus it freezes up.
Would buy again, but im steering tward lower rpm and quieter fans these days. This thing has great power, if you place it on a floor it ... Read More
Rating: - Moves a lot of air.. but LOUD
I bought this fan to install in my sonatta III quiet system to help cool the three HD's I had installed. Sounded like a small aircraft in my case. Drives were very cool but I had to take the fan out and get a fan that would go to the mother board fan plug. This fan only had straight 12v in and full speed. If you can get this far enough away from you or in a better location it might be ok.. Just very anoyingly loud

The only reason I bought it is cause I had gift cards and needed one, so I thought why not put an Antec fan in my Antec case. WRONG, it was a waste of my gift cards. It is just too loud. I have a Sonata case and this is the loudest thing in there... and it is even hooked up to the PSU's fan controller power cords, which supplys minimal power. It is just too ... Read More
Rating: - Wow
Ok, so the word "wow" does not come to mind when you are on the subject of fans. But...... if you want to cool your case, this is a great way to go. Mind you, it will not fit all cases, but it does fit almost all Gateway towers. This baby moves air like it should be moved. Inside temp was reduced 16 degrees within 5 minutes. WOW. It is a bit noisy, but that's ok, I like the hum of fans in the server room. Also might want to consider a filter in the front of your box, no sense just sucking more ... Read More
