Rating:  - Decent speakers that could be designed a little better...
i bought these speakers so my dad would have some better speakers to listen to his music when he is surfing the internet... it works out well for him because he does not need the speakers to be on every time the computer on... as for me i would not be able to use these speakers because it requires you to turn them off and on every time the power gets yanked... also, on the remote, there is no guage for the volume button, basically you don't know how loud the speakers are running just by looking at ... Rating: - great system for your money
this speaker system is excellent for the price. The subwoofer pumps out great bass, and the speakers give off crisp sound. If you listen closly you can tell that they struggle slightly at mid range but overall very good sound. The only con. to this system is that they don't have a headphone jack which on most computers doesn't make a difference because of front panel audio but it is still a nice feature. This is the best speaker system i think that you can buy for the cost.

I paid only $40.00, at Newegg.com, I must have gotten
the last pair, WHAT A DEAL! The power these little
speakers pump out, is absolutely amazing! You will not
believe it! They're really cool looking, and a breeze
to hook up. Search around on the internet for the lowest
price, you should be able to buy them for $40.00- $60.00.
Whatever price you get them for THEY'RE WORTH EVERY PENNY!

If I told you what Amazon charged me for these (with FREE shipping) right before the holidays--they'd probably censor this review...so I'll just say "WHAT A DEAL"!!! I purchased them just for the awesome price, so I wasn't prepared to "quibble". After connecting them to a aging "boom box", loading a nice-sounding CD, and cranking them up...I was floored!

Rating: - Theater like sound from the subwoofer!
I gave these speakers as gift to my parents, to connect to their laptop. They popped in the Pirates of the Caribbean in their laptop and were blown away by the impressive theater like sound, especially from the subwoofer. They liked the speakers so much they want to connect them to the DVD player in their living room, for an inexpensive home theater experience.
