The product, as for many years, fits the need it provides nicely.
As for many years, it still leaves a larger footprint than other Anti-virus software packages - I debate every year on whether to switch to Trend or something similar. This year was more iritating than usual because after installing I could not access my FTP site remotely or use remote desktop once VPNd into my site. I have now had Norton 2009 Antivirus on my computer for several weeks, and several strange things have been happening. I'm not sure if they are related or merely coincindental. I have used Norton products for years and not had these problems before. The problems I've encountered are these:
My computer has not been able to shut down.
I've received messages that my virus definitions were out of date, and when I try to manually update, the "attention, fix now" messages don't go away.
