Had 3 of these drives in Raid 5 Configuration for a month with no issues on a 64 bit Vista ultimate.

Unlike Rossi, most people know that OEM means no package or screws, that is why it is much cheaper. If you buy OEM from ANYWHERE, it comes the same way. Don't blame Amazon for your won ignorance Rossi.

I have three of them now and they are fast, quiet and big. So far no reliability problem. Easy to get going. Shock resistant. Price good too. WD id good to deal with in the event of a problem too.

I purchased 2 of these drives from Amazon.com to replace some older, much smaller drives in my desktop. They arrived in excellent shape, both worked perfectly, and all at a good price (I did shop around quite a bit).

Unfortunately I am having exactly the similar issue that "D. Bachman" is facing (I bought 2 of WD 1TB HDD directly from Amazon to avoid any such issue. Both came factory sealed and when I installed them it has showed 80GB only. And when I test them one by one, it appeared that one is totally not working and the other one is 80GB only instead of 1TB! In addition, it has been written Matrox Corp on the back and WD printed on the front sticker)
