Customer Reviews
Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Good device, though not perfect
pros: lightweight, slim, really portable. Good screen, sufficient amount of USB ports.

cons: two hours battery life is not that much. Windows operation is a kind
of slow. May be one can optimize that but that's what one get out of the box. Keys are small and touch typing will be difficult for the first time.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - handy little computer
This little computer is exactly what it says it is: small, easy to carry around, and with limited capacity. It is very convenient for trips, where you want to keep up with email etc. via wifi at hotels and coffee shops, etc., but don't want to bring your regular computer along. The battery doesn't stay charged as long as might be nice, but that's not crucial. Also, as others have said, its small size results in a keyboard that's a little tricky to get used to. But that goes with the territory. In ... Read More

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Not As Listed
This specific model does NOT possess the wonderful Asus SSD that makes the other EEE products so quick (even though they claim it does. I confirmed this with ASUS directly).
It has a 16GB SD card soldered in place. That means it's read/write speeds are ABSURDLY slow and this thing behaves like a laptop from the dark ages.
DO NOT PURCHASE THIS MODEL.
Purchase one of the models with 20g (they actually have a 4GB SSD from which the operating system runs, making them WAY faster for ... Read More

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - ASUS mini travels the world
We purchased our "mini" so we would have easier access to the internet for travel booking, email communication and GPS/mapping. Love the size. Love that they offer Windows format now in addition to Linux. It's a little slow so you have to be patient with it booting up or opening up a program. Don't like the left/right button at the bottom (actually it's only one button and I haven't figured out how to right click on anything with this or any other button yet). We're not "texters" so the small keys ... Read More

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Handy but slow
This is a very compact, lightweight, and handy little PC when you need access to the internet on the go. Instead of taking my nearly 6 lb laptop, I took this on a couple of recent trips. My only major complaint is that it takes forever (relatively speaking)to access the internet. I get really impatient waiting for the pages to load. But it beats not having web access when you need it while you are travelling.
