Rating: - So far, a good hard drive for the price.
Unless flights of angels appear and declare your data protected for all time, you never really know how durable a hard drive is until it begins to fail.
Mine, fortunately, has neither begun to fail nor attracted swarms of gorgeous, flying, feathery nudists. I doubt my wife would approve.
What it has done, however, is upgraded my MacBook Pro's disk space, revitalizing the computer's useful life and allowing me to get quite a bit more done.

I upgraded my new late 2008 Macbook 2.4 GHz with this piece, and the upgrade sure was worth it ! Now I have a small computer with a gigantic disk drive, and it works flawlessly !! I love it !

When installing this into a ps3 you must backup your stuff on a usb flashdrive setup for fat32(you can do this by going to my computer right click flashdrive. Usually f:drive} If you keep getting a message that says you must update your firmware after you install the hdd follow below:

I brought the 500GB Samsung Spinpoint hard drive on amazon from SuperMediaStore who shipped and sold it. The price was $125.99 . The next day I decided to browse through SuperMediaStore website only to find out that the same hard drive make and model was $98.99 .....That's $27 dollars cheaper! I feel so ripped off. I tried to contact them directly through email and three days later still haven't received a reply. I deserve a credit.
