This shield not only protects the screen, it improves it. The shield is easy to apply, and comes with all the tools and equipment necessary. The only odd thing is the spray that you put on your fingers, but I have to say that I used it and I have no visible fingerprints on my shield. The application is simple and quick, taking less than 5 minutes.

This is by far the worst protective shield for the iPhone. It rips as you try to tear it apart from its backing. The whole shield is rubbery and distorted as you try to apply it onto the phone surface. I wasted the money and winded up getting an Apple shield instead. It was so easy to use. I have used the Invisible Shield brand before for my digital camera and GPS and they were fine. But, DO NOT buy the Invisible Shield for the iPhone. I wouldn't recommend it at all.

The description of the item and name make you think it is a genuine Invisible Shield product from Zagg. It is not!!!!! Very disappointed in this product.

The invisible shield holds true to the second part of its name but is anything but invisible. I understand that if done absolutely perfect it looks alright but I, and many others, have found this to be impossible the first time. So unless u do this for a living u probably aren't going to. Even if u dont get any bubbles, the finish that is left on the film is wavy and looks as though there is a thin film of rubber cement on the phone. Rating: - Imperfect solution
There is good and bad with this product.
The good: it provides excellent protection for the screen of the iPhone and when used with a wraparound case (my favorite is the Jam Jacket), keeps the iPhone screen from being scratched. The packet also comes with three "shields" so that when one gets ratty, you can easily replace it.
