I got this product from Zencorp on sale. Since I saw this product being advertised in the Apple website, I thought it may be good to try the product. Zencorp was very quick to deliver the product so I set to work right away in backing up my files from the Mac with Time Machine. The Verbatim hard drive became very hot after some time and as I continued straight 5 hours to load data into it, to my surprise, the silver cover started to get deformed, as if it was melting.
