This monitor is 95% identical to the its predecessor, the HD2200 (http://www.amazon.com/Gateway-HD2200-Widescreen-LCD-Monitor/dp/B000XIDECU). If you want a detailed description of how this TN panel performs in color palettes, grayscale, backlight bleed etc. refer to the link and other sites for feedback because the representative at Gateway told me this and the HD2200 use the same exact panel (apparently the 2000:1 contrast ratio to the hd200's 1000:1 is a gimmick, because of "Ultra Contrast" - similar ...
