I'm totally new to SQL Server. I had big time problems trying to install the old 2005 developer version that came with Visual Studio. I got SQL Server 2008 developer for Christmas along with a book called "Beginning SQL Server 2008 for Developers: From Novice To Professional" written by Robin Dewson.
