I got this little gem for Christmas, and I love it. I hear a lot of talk about the ink cartridges, but I have to say, the starter cartridge that came with it, printed about 15 pics. My daughter had the foresight to tuck an extra one in my stoocking, so I'm still printing away! It does print lab quality photos. They look fabulous. I received this printer for Christmas and absolutely love it. It is compact and very easy to use. The picture quality is amazing and there are so many fun features to add to your photos. I like how I can use multiple media devices to upload my pictures. This printer is not designed to print your family vacation album, meaning loads of pictures at a time. This is a great printer with lots of fun features, but the ink is far to expensive to use for your everyday printing needs. I estimate that the prints cost me about $1.20 per print. I can take my SD card to the corner drug store and have them printed for less than half that amount. If I had known the ink was so expensive, I never would have purchased this printer.
