It can also view hi-def up to 1080i when using an ATSC digital antenna to capture over-the-air channels. 1080i resolution will depend on the computer and its capable video resolutions. A cable set-top box or satellite box can be used when going through the MCX to F-Connector adapter. A coaxial cable is needed for this configuration. An AV-Input adapter is also provided as an accessory to allow capture of an RCA Video or S-Video based source. This feature allows you to capture and input from an external source and save them as a digital format.

I use this to view TV on my 24 INCH LCD.....here are the Pros
1. USB Device so easy to take anywhere.
2. All function Included in Remote...so no need of Keyboard
3. Comes with Antenna
4. Keep your PC on and leave it to Cyberlink Software, and it will record all the programs you have set.
5. Fetches Program Updates Online which makes watchin so easy.
6. Compatible with almost all connection.....Digital or Analog.

I purchased this to watch TV on my LAptop. I tried many USB TV/Video capture devices and this one worked the best. PRoblem is the TV software by cyberlink is unsupported and will not let me turn off close captioning.
