This is not about DPI or anything like that. We're not saving the world or even trying for a very large or accurate representation of it. However! When you can use your phone to take a picture of someone and instantly print it on a printer they're holding in their hands, the look on the face of the subject makes this printer TOTALLY WORTH IT.

First of all, this is really easy to use. I simply hooked it up to my camera, set my camera to browse photos and an option to print popped right up - it couldn't have been easier. The photos are pretty quick to develop and look great. I agree that the print quality is not perfect, but I actually like this - you can get kind of neat effects (nothing dramatic, but the prints have a particular feel to them, just like classic polaroid pics). I received this as a birthday gift and being a lover of gadgets was eager to try it out. The size of the prints, 2" x 3", was a concern but I was willing to print only full frame, good quality photos to make up for this. The real problem was the quality of the prints. The color is awful. There appear to be lines running through the print probably a fault of the technology. The worst part is the flatness of the print quality, too much light and dark with no mid tones. I love the idea of this product. It's convenient and the size of the image is fun. I've found the color to be pretty good when printing from my digital camera. I wouldn't expect the color to be great if printing from a low quality cell phone camera image.
My only complaint is that it is not compatible with my IPhone. Other than that, I think it's a great product that I hope they continue to make and expand on. Worth the investment!
