Having multiple iPhones and iPods and an iTouch in the family has been the cause for a severe wire spaghetti and receptacle shortage. I ordered 2 for different parts of the house. They work great. It is an inexpensive solution and with 2 devices inserted, they sort of look smart, too. Highly recommended.

I have not found a plate that fits the G3 perfectly, but the included adapter plates work for my older Gen iPod classic, my New classic and phone with a jelly case on. Very versatile and useful. I would like a line out to it could play while charging through my external speakers.

This works with my iPhone 3G using the proper adapter insert provided. I use it to charge my phone at night. The price was right and it works well. I would have preferred a single bay, but this was cheaper than some single alternatives and rated highly on the Apple website.

Very nicely done. Looks good, well built an designed. However Griffin has not sold off their existing stock of older units without an iPhone 3G adapater in the box. The unit I received from Amazon is just that - an older box sans 3G adapter. I carefully place the iPhone in the dock and it works well with no adapter at all, but that is a bad idea I'm sure. I can buy an adapter for a reasonable $1.99 from Griffin. What isn't reasonable is the shipping charge of $5! So I can get the piece ... Read More

I love that I can charge my iPhone and/or iPod and be able to see the screen on either item instead of laying flat with a cord. This is a great ideal.
