Just installed this drive a few days ago in my machine. Incredible drive for less than $80.00. I noticed a difference in speed right away thanks to the 16mb cache. The drive is extremely quiet. The only problem I had was getting XP to recognize it as a 500 GB drive. It kept wanting to see it as 132 GB. This was easily solved with the Easeus partition program (a free download and an incredible program in it's own right!). Once that was taken care of, everything else just fell into place.
