these are not noise cancelling headphones, unless by turning up the music you are turning down the background noise. they are just like any other stereo headphones, they do not have an on/off switch or require batteries. I'm not sure why Samsung thought they could get away with advertising them as such.

The Pleomax Headphones are advertised as Noise cancelling, however, when they arrive, the fine print on the package says "soft ear cups for noise cancelling" , not an active electronic system as one might expect. But then again, you get what you pay for!

company was notified about this they sent another order via Next Day Air.
