The best DVD player I've ever had. It will play any DVD format from any region including the newer Sony produced movies. The video output is very crisp. The set-up menu has many options but is very easy to understand. The remote has large buttons and will work easily from over ten feet from the unit. You don't have to take my word for it,go to consumer reports on-line. They rate it the very best in their opinion.

If you want a simple, easy to learn to use, nice looking, single play DVD player, this one is for you. High quality image. Well built (Pioneer is the brand of product used in most Macs).
If you are looking for all the bells & whistles available for your home theater; something to make your former investment banker friends drool with envy, it's not for you.
