Easy to use with good quality results but it can be a time-consuming process. Probaby not the best for someone with thousands of 35mm negatives to process as there is no "batch processing"...
Rating: - Plustek 7300 - Great Value
This is a great 35mm slide scanner for the money ($230). I am sure there are better slide scanners on the market, but they are several hundreds of dollars more. I found the Plustek 7300 pretty easy to set up and load the software. Rating: - very good deal
around $200 you get a very very good quality digital picture ... priceless revival of souvenirs !!!!!
the only con is the manual insert of each slide !!!! works very well on mac!
Rating: - Superb for the price
As with any scanner, you have to do some post-scan adjustment in Photoshop. If you're not prepared to do that, don't bother to buy this or any film scanner, but pay a professional to scan and manipulate your slides and negatives.
The software is excellent but not the easiest to use. If you can deal with the learning curve, you'll be pleased with the results from this reasonably priced scanner.
