Rating: - Pleased but....
This little tripod is convenient and easy to carry-it fits neatly in the pouch of my camera bag. It works fine with the self timer, but,it is not as stable as I had hoped- a light bump tumbled over the camera.
Rating: - Cute, but fragile. Look elsewhere.
I broke this tripod when extending the two front legs the first time. There is a very weak point in the design, a plastic pin which limits the range of motion of the two front legs, how far they can spread apart. It snapped off instantly, and the tripod was then unusable. To be fair, this is the first CaseLogic product I have ever been less-than-delighted with. They do a great job on their fabric cases.
Rating: - Very handy, small tripod for occasional use
This tripod is a nice addition for the ocassional use. My husband and I used in on our recent trip to Southern Utah. It was nice to have around to take pictures of the two of us using our camera timer. It folds flat and fits nicely in your pocket. We have a larger compact camera (Panasonic TZ 4) and it balances well on this small tripod. Not disappointed with my purchase at all.
Rating: - Works for what it is
I was looking for a small tripod to mount DV camera on desktop for transfer work etc. Completely cheap and cheesy but it works fine for my midsize DV camera.
Rating: - Handi
Its almost as small as today's cameras. Handy to keep in the car just in case you want that whole family shot.
