This product allows us to do as we please with little fear of getting lost. Very helpful We drive a Volvo Semi truck and laptop sits in cab beside driver. Very handy and convenient. Suggest using one earpiece headset to get clear voice commands.

This software was easy to install. I had initial problems figuring out how to use the GPS itself as there are no detailed instructions with it. However after some initial difficulty I got it up and functioning. It is easy to see and follow once you get it going.

I've had a chance to own and use the DeLorme Earthmate GPS LT-40 2009 for a few days now. I must say I'm impressed. I'd like to throw in a little bit of honesty though. Having used other GPS devices in my car, I thought I was going to be able to rip open the box, sprint to my car, and talk to my new Gadget like it was HAL-9000 from Stanley Kubricks Space Odyssey. Rating: - 2009 LT40-Great Value
The Delorme is a great value. However, it is also somewhat complex. We plan to use this in a motorhome. Hope the dw figures out all features of this program. We have not actually used this to navigate as of yet. I have lit it up and know that it works and looks great. I suspect there may be a long learning curve for my navigator as she has never used a gps type device before and had some issues with map navigation. Rating: - Excellent product
The DeLorme Earthmate and Street Atlas software are very powerful and well done. The steeper learning curve than a dedicated GPS reward you with a more powerful and flexible system.
