I just received my 650 yesterday (Jan. 8, 2009) and am thus far happy with it. I have one comment regarding the Amazon.com stats for the TV... if you look at the connectivity features under the "learn more" heading, you're likely to find that the TV supposedly has two RF antenna inputs (ostensibly one for a coaxial cable TV connection and another for over-the-air antenna). Have been using this HDTV for about two months and its performance has been outstanding. Over-the-air HD programming is great with this unit.
Free delivery arranged by Amazon was great. In less than a week after my order the delivery company called to set up a convenient four hour window for delivery. Rating: - Buy this TV - Don't look any further
I spent over 6 months researching LCD TV's. Went to every big box store and looked at every brand. I had a budget of $2500 for a 52" unit that I could hang in my den and I read ever published on line and print review. I have now had my Samsung LN52A650 in use for a little over a month and the only question I keep asking myself is why in the hell did I wait so long to pull the trigger on purchasing this unit. Rating: - Excellent TV.
Agree with other reviews. Excellent TV quality and picture. I will highly recommend.
The only thing that I'll improve is reduce response times from the remote, from the time it takes to turn On/Off and from the time to change input sources, but I guess that's the standard for HD TVs.
