Great Product!! Fast syncing!!! Using it as a portable hard drive for my Numark Idj2!! You have to use a usb y cable though to make it work. but if your just using as backup, the normal 1 head usb sufficiently powers the drive. very satisfied! good job toshiba!

What a piece of junk. I read all these glowing reviews and purchased the product. The first time I tried to copy multiple files, an error message displayed about half way through that the "path was too deep" for a file and the copy operation stopped though there was no indication that the remaining files had also been left uncopied. I then tried the remaining files one at a time and they copied okay. Naive me, I decided to install the software, thinking that would correct the problem. Same thing. ... Read More
Rating: - Excellent For iTunes
I basically got this for my music library...I have a Toshiba Laptop with a 120 GB HDD and that was getting filled up quickly, so I decided that 160 GB was just perfect for my music. I also install some large computer games on it and they work great too...if you have a Toshiba Laptop then this should work (and look) flawlessly...No software to install, just plug and play...simple, easy...

I am very pleased with my purchase. This little sleak external hard drive is just what I wanted to save all my eBooks and files on. My daughter was impressed with the small size and called hers "clunky". It works great with either my laptop or desk computer. I would recommend it.

It's small, portable, powered solely by the USP port, and it looks good. I've been using it to backup my computer and it's been working fine for the past month.
