We bought this for our son for his virtual class. He made the choice and as he use it, he discover more and more handy features and he loves it.
There are lots of upgrading capacity and I'm glad we purchased it.

After hearing such great things about macs, I finally took the plunge on the MacBook when the need for a laptop came. It's everything I hoped it would be and I'm completely satisfied. I like the Mac OS and everything just seems to work better and more efficiently than windows-based systems. No regrets whatsoever and my next PC will likely be a Mac.

This is a good choice for a college student who likes the Mac OS X desktop. It is reasonably easy to set up and use. I downloaded and installed the Mac port of OpenOffice, Sun's open source alternative to Microsoft Office, with word processor, spreadsheet, presentation, and database tools.
