I had no problems with the installation of this product and it worked the first time I used it. I am pleased with the quality and ease of use.
Rating: - Pretty decent, good for SLIDES, not good for medium fmt or 4x5s
Does a great job on slides, but be advised, the backlight is a thin strip down the middle of the scanning area, and the preview will only show you this area for selecting the full scan-- and it's not quite wide enough for medium format. If you don't mind cropping your medium format negs a bit it'll do fine, otherwise you'll have to stitch multiple scans together as you can get as tall as you want but it'll only be about 2" wide max.
