I purchased one of these for my wife this spring for her birthday. She had a bit of trouble with it, but HP replaced it at once. She has had no more trouble with it. I purchased one for my new computer and boy do I like it. I have had no problem with it all, but if I do I know that HP will replace it ASAP.

I really like these monitors. Sleek, fast response time and the software makes managing it pretty easy. It also has the ability to flip sideways for a portrait; I don't know anyone who uses it, but who cares, it's there if you want it. Like most reviewers have commented, the sound is not that great, but I don't know a single monitor that has decent sound; it's one of those things people keep b*n about, but no one ever does anything about. Worked for me !! plugged it out of the box and it automatically adjusted to 1680 screen resolution. It includes an HDMI cable which is very convenient. Glossy screen and wide enough to watch your movies... You can also turn the screen to a vertical position and it will portrait the image. Great Monitor.

For the money the HP w2207h is a pretty good monitor. I was leary of the glossy surface but as long as light sources are not directly behind you, there is not much glare. Pictures look quite good but those, who like me, who do photo and art work, be aware that there is some light fall off at the sides and at top or bottom. When looking at a white screen the sides look like a light tan because of this fall off. This is dependant on how close to the monitor you sit. I like to be 20" to 24" back ... Read More
