Though it never states that it is not for international travel, I found the word in the title "Travel" to be misleading. This product is most certainly not compatible with higher overseas voltages and will fry. Perhaps a better title for this product would be "Portable" or "Compact".

Very compact and certainly easy to use. I was only able to use 3 of the 4 outlets because one of my battery chargers was too large to allow a 2nd one to fit next to it on the side that had two outlets. Nice the others were on other side and end. Have bought these for wonderful gifts for the digital photography user or traveler.
Rating: - US travel only
Do not be fooled by the 330 volt statement. This product will protect you only up to 125 volts. It cannot be used in places like the UK where power is 210 to 240 volts. I will still use it in North America, but it is useless otherwise.

I compared this item with the Belkin Mini Surge Protector with USB Charger. While the Targus doesn't have USB ports, I can get those anywhere: my laptop, my iGo, or any cheap AC-to-USB converter. The Belkin has a 360-swivel plug, but it doesn't fold away, so it's bulkier and more cumbersome than the Targus. (The Belkin that does have a fold-away plug has only 2 outlets.

Rating: - Targus Travel Outlet. Small/Compact.
This is to be used with a laptop, when out and about. If I am in an area that is designated WiFi with my laptop I will not be using more than one outlet. Will come in handy for those times. I like that it has surge protection with it.
