This game is amazing in a scale from 1-10:

Rating: - Gears 2 is Great
If you loved the first Gears, you will love this one as well. The multiplayer coop and Horde modes are fantastic and will keep you and your friends busy for hours. The story mode was fun as well, but the story somewhat confused me and I hope it gets wrapped up well in the 3rd game. I felt alot of the content in the story and story mode play were lifted from Halo, but not enough to get your panties in a bunch over. If you are looking for some mindless, violent fun, this is the game for you.

The light mass bomb has been delivered. The bomb was supposed to send the locust on the run. Instead it has made them more (desperate?) aggressive and they are pressing ever closer to the last remaining human stronghold, Jacinto. Enter Delta squad fresh from delivering the Light Mass bomb to the Locust base, Marcus Fenix and his friend Dom where hoping for a little R&R (in Dom's case more time to hunt for his missing wife), instead they get stuck with training Delta's newest recruit. Despite all the Gears of War hype, the truth is, this could have been a better game. The biggest problem is that it really isn't an improvement over the first game. There are very few additional weapons in this game, but none of them is really practical or likely to be used. No new enemies(They even remove the beserkers), unless you count the one using the flamethrower and a few enemies from the first game are now more fightable, maybe one or two newer environments along with as a bunch of the familiar ones, ... Gears 2 is one of the most fun games I have ever played for the Xbox 360 it has everything you need to sit back and rev up the lancer and kill the some locust. The weapons are more powerful, the graphics have deeper environments and more color. The online play still doesn't impress me because it lags and it takes to long to kill someone but this game is worth every nickel and dime because this game has more to offer then any game I have played.
