I upgraded to this processor from a 2.0Ghz Celeron (Northwood), and man the difference in performance is ginormous!. I ordered from Kangaroo2, and he was quick, safe, and prompt in the delivery. I used to get an average of 40 fps on CS:S, but with this beast, I don't even drop below 70fps. If you are looking for an upgrade to your socket 478, this is the best choice.
