Product DescriptionThe Zoom Model 5651 ADSL X4 is a full-rate ADSL 2/2+ modem and a powerful gateway/router/firewall in a single affordable product.The Model 5651 X4 delivers up to 24 Mbps data speeds over existing telephone wires and is suitable for use in homes or small offices. The Model 5651 is compatible with older ADSL protocols as well as the new ADSL 2/2+ standards for higher data speeds and extended distances at which high data rates can be delivered. The Ethernet interface on the X4 provides connection to a computer running most operating systems, including Windows 95, 98, 98SE, 2000, XP and Me as well as Linux, UNIX and Mac Operating system. The X4 can also be plugged into a hub or wireless access point to provide concurrent Internet access for up to 253 networked computers. The USB port supports connection to a Windows computer.

I bought this modem router trying to unify the functions even though I already have a modem.
I was not lucky setting up the modem ADSL modem gateway router firewall model 5651 in CR. The procedure was very easy to follow but the device never recognised the configuration of the internet provider neither making use of the CD nor in the internet address suggested by Zoom
