Rating: - Does what is says, build quality not the best
This product works fine in my system. The only problem I have is the card doesn't fit perfect in my motherboard; I've read others have the same issue.
Rating: - Didn't Even Fit Into the Computer, Pin spacing wrong, too!!!
Something went wrong with the circuit board layout. The physical spacing between the first pin on the edge connector and the edge of the motherboard to the rear panel is about 3/16 of an inch too long. I cannot even force it into my Lenovo computer. I compared it to another circuit board in my computer and verified the spacing is too large. Rating: - Awesome card and very compatible
Card did exactly what was advertised. Worked perfectly in my Windows Home Server box with no errors in the event logs. I am not using it for RAID, so I cannot comment on that part. I am simply using it to add 2 internal SATA drives to my machine. Worked a lot better than a cheaper card I had tried. I didn't even need the drivers disc as the Silicon Image chipset was supported by the OS natively. I would buy this again.
