Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great, simple media center extender
This is an excellent media center extender. I've got a wireless G network (had a wireless N, but Xbox 360 can only recognize G so downgraded), and am using this wifi on a secondary TV with the a 360 as my primary extender.

Pros:
-Setup was *much* simpler than on Xbox 360. Follow the quick setup instructions and you're golden.
-The menus are actually more quickly responsive than on Xbox 360.
-Plays recorded TV, music files, picture files, and appropriate codec video ... Read More

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Good price to value
When Amazon first listed this product, it was priced at over $300, and IMO, not worth the money. But at under $120, this is quite a nice product.

The cons of this extender include:

- Limited video format support
- Limited wireless reception
- Supports Vista Media Center only (no XP)

Most of my videos were in either WMV v8 or AVI format - so I had to convert them all to WMV v9 in order to get them to play on my TV. I also had some issues with the ... Read More

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Didn't work
We had a terrible time trying to get this to recognize our Linksys wireless router. After working with the Linksys tech support area, we were finally able to find the Media Extender only to find out the signal wasn't strong enough. The most frustrating part was that our other devices that connect to a Linksys wireless router all work fine. It is on its' way back.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Won't work with Vista
After dozens of attempts to get this thing to work on my Vista system, I give up and consider this a total waste of money. On those few occasions when I could manage to get through the maze of setting up the device, it worked for a few hours at best before losing connection (wireless) with the PC - and guess what? I had to re-install the device all over again - it would not be recoverable at all. Uncle - I quit.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Linksys Media Center Extender - Not a good product
Lot of technical issues and challanges with this product. The product is not matured and also the Linksys support team is not that expert in supporting this product. I would recommend not to buy this product.
