Rating: - Great bargin for a good notebook sleeve
When I first ordered this sleeve, I didn't expect too much from it. However, when I received it, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and protection it offered. Also, it fits my 17" laptop perfectly. Can't beat this for the price.
Rating: - Definitely cushions the unit
This sleeve is not as 'protective' as a $300 laptop case, but for the money, it has a better cushion than the expensive model I got directly from my computer manufacturer. Or for that matter, it's more 'protective' than similarly priced 'sleeves' in discount chain stores. The quilting part does most of the cushioning. But if you drop your laptop on it's 'corner' (off a desk, for example), there isn't much that will cushion the impact. But if dropped 'flat', this sleeve will help quite a bit.
