I am running SolidWorks and had a 'gaming' card. Up grading to the Quadro FX made a significant improvement of the clarity of models. This is a worth while investment.
Rating: - Perfect card for my needs
After much research this card fit my needs and budget perfectly. The supplied installation CD drivers were out of date. Rquireing a visit to Nvidia's website & downloading correct driver. Not a big deal but took a few tries before everything was correct. Am primarily using ALIAS studio software which functions perfectly. Had an ATI card previously which was more intented for gaming that would barely function. As advertised this card works well with CAD programs.
