Rating: - Works great with Macs!
The Smartdisk Firelite drives (including the 250GB version) work great with Macs! I've used them with the Titanium G4 PowerBook 15 inch, Aluminum G4 PowerBook 15 inch, Intel Core Duo MacBook Pro 17 inch, and now the Intel Core 2 Duo MacBook Pro 15 inch. Never any problems. The small size of these drives makes them perfect for taking on the road. I've never had to contact the manufacturer for any issue.

I paid $30 for fedex shipment, only to recieve the product, unfixed a week and a half later. No explanation. No reply. No paperwork. And ... Read More

Rating: - Didn't work and no product support from mfg'er
I have had a 60GB Firelite portable HD for years and I love it. I am soon going on a photo safari in Africa and decided I needed a larger one. The 250GB Firelite drive looks great, but performed poorly. When I connected it to my desktop computer two things happened. My computer would not recognize the HD and my computer would freeze up.
I tried all the solutions listed in the FAQ section of the mfg'er's website. I called their technical service but was never able to get through. I e-mailed them ... Read More
