This product is the most economical (by viewing similar products on Amazon) way to connect a PC cardbus to an Expresscard equipped computer. I connected a Verizon Wireless PC 5750 card to it, plugged the adaptor into my MacBook Pro, and it was immediately recognized. There are no drivers to install, all you need is the appropriate driver for your cardbus installed on your machine before using.

This adapter works perfectly to connect my Sprint wireless mobile broadband card (a Novatel Merlin S720) to my new HP laptop. My problem was that the Sprint card uses a "cardbus" (or "PC card") connector, but my new laptop lacks a cardbus slot, it only has an incompatible "Express Card" slot. The Addonics Expresscard Cardbus adapter worked perfectly right out of the box. I am connected to Amazon via the adapter right now! Bravo, Addonics! I love it when things work great.

I bought this adapter for reading Panasonic P2 cards, unfortunately I had to call support to learn P2 cards are not supported with this adapter.
