This is a great antenna for a very reasonable price. Easy to set up and move around for reception.
Rating: - Not bad at all
I ordered this antenna because, after I'd seen how great the new DTV channels are, it seemed worthwhile to get a converter box and antenna for my old TV set (that was being used only for DVD videos, before). When the antenna arrived I was surprised and pleased by how small it is. It's less than 7 inches tall. (I have overhead clearance problems, so small is good.) Rating: - signal loss with foot traffic
This antenna is not good near area where foot traffic is a regular occurrence. Any vibration on the floor would interrupt the signal. You turn on a kitchen fan or hair dryer, the sign is loss. It may be ok if your floors don't vibrate or there is no foot traffic near by. Not recommended.
Rating: - poor reception and needs power
Reception is very poor. I have other non powered digital antennas that do much better.
Rating: - Great While It Lasted (Which Wasn't Long)
The GE 24775 Quantum is a nice looking and easy to use antenna. It picked up all the Washington DC channels (analog & digital). Beware however, if you live in an area that periodically has low relative humidity. I purchased 2 of them, and both have called it quits after only a few months of service. I never figured out what killed the first one, but the second one stopped working after experiencing a static shock when I attempted to reposition the antenna for better reception. It is little ...
