Rating: - Works with Mac
I use this with my Macbook Pro without problem.
Is fast and reliable. To install it just insert it in the slot and that's it no drivers needed.
Works with most of the memory cards available in the market.
Rating: - Wonderful convenience!
This is a great convenience! No more cables or adapters to carry around. I'm an amateur photographer and I used to have to carry extra equipment around in order to get my photos on my laptop. With this reader plugged into my MacBook Pro, I just pop out my SD card from my camera and plop in right into my Mac. Seconds later I'm back shooting with a clean card. I love not having to be concerned if I remembered to bring my card reader on site or if I left my card reader or cables somewhere.

Works fine with XP SP3 and every SD and MicroSD card w adapter I've tried, but it leaves half the SD card exposed for damaging.
The adapter doesn't require any drivers and integrates seamlessly into XP, but half of the SD card remains exposed and this creates risk of the card being snapped, snapped out, or bent and ruined.
We've already ruined one SD card since we'd expect the adapter and devices to seat flush like other Express and PCMCIA adapters we use.
Rating: - almost perfect
this is almost exactly what i'm looking for. its got a great compatibility and works like a charm. the only thing bad about it is its aesthetics- it sticks out like 1/2 mm and doesn't completely fill up the rectangular space on the side of my laptop... verdict: this is the best express slot sd card reader money can buy, but there's room for improvement.
Rating: - False advertising, beware!
So the compatibility on this product seems incredible. Almost too good to be true... oh wait, it is!
I can't exactly blame the advertiser on this site, because they were only copying it from the back of the package, which flaunts all kinds of card compatibilities, including micro-sd. There are exceptions tho, like the MMC micro and Memory Stick Micro (M2) which require an adapter.
Too bad micro-sd isnt on this list...too bad it doesnt say anywhere that you require an adapter for a micro ... Read More
