I ordered this scanner thinking that it can scan documents into pdf format to be opened with Adobe Acrobat Reader; however, it needs it's own software to scan and open the documents. I am not satisfied with this product for the price spent on it. If you dont mind having to use the specific software to use the scanner - then this will fit your needs.
