Built a system using the silver version of this barebones kit and a E8400 3GHz Core2 Duo and 2GB of memory. Was able to reuse an old EIDE 250GB drive and a EIDE DVD-ROM from a prior system. Very stable, exceeded my expectations. Nice that it supports SATA and/or EIDE.
